Look what I found off Straddy today

Went for a run off Straddy today running through the bar at about 6am under a fair bit of cloud cover. Went to a bait mark and found some of these pilchard thingys.

Then went to an old favourite and found these couple as well as a fair other assortment.

On the way home the local submarines were putting on a terrific show.

Called in at Cabbage Tree on the way home and threw them on Hayden's scales, pulled em down to 10kg.

Did I have fun - you bloody bet I did.

Mate awesome snappa and jew LT, i just had six days off and only got out one day (prepping for 1770 the rest)

Craig, That would be a Maray - Etrumeus teres. Not very hardy in the live bait tank, but fantastic fresh bait!

Yeah Macca but these one's were bigger, mate always had three kids, you wouldn't know but we have twins. Same one's as at Bundy earlier in the year at your party.

Yeah Mick, after I left you I went north for a while and didn't do much good. Went back to the spot I got the jew and got a pearly, moses, trag, , parrot, a tarwhine etc as well as a few that slurped up liveys but managed to avoid the hooks.

How did you finish up ??

Murf, caught one 12.5kg about 10 years ago off the same island - big fish !!!.

Caught em bigger in Port Lincoln a few years back but the SE Qld one's pull harder eh.
