Offshore Yeppoon in my new 10yo Kevlacat

Went for a run about 80km out prior to the tightlines when the weather was good. Only the second run in my Kevlacat and now I'm sold on them!

Got a good feed of Red Emperor and Jew and a couple of jobfish which was a surprise.

Great catch there. Rosy Jobfish were a reasonably common catch at the Northern Fern areas which are now green zones. Did you go to the deeper stuff north of that?

Great catch bud well done, got to be extremely happy with that. Also curious which way u headed for that result? We're u on the fern ground?

    Cheers from boony

There is a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges

Yeah mate, it has the first of the df140's 10yo but with only 200hrs on them. I have spent the last couple of months working on them. Nothing wrong with them but I have been tidying them up, servicing and getting to know them. They are a great motor to work on. Have you run yours in yet?

    Good luck Thursday!
