Who Has The Best Fishing Lifestyle????

Some blokes on here get it easy. Look at Murf, he's been on Fraser with a big group for a week or so fishin camping and yahooing drinking that joy of his. As if that isn't bad enough I just read where he's going to the 1770 M& G which is not that big a thing cause over eighty are. But for Murf he's also doing the Keppels on the way up AND back for goodness knows how long. So Murf is my candidate.

There's also Booney who seems to get about way too much for a guy who should be settling down and doing it hard.

Phill dreams about getting about way too much for my liking too.

I very nearly made a comment about this, but thought better of it.

Yeah.....Murf puts forward a very good case for taking the title of Ausfish's greatest bludger but I'd like to nominate Dave Netmaker for the title.

He doesn't seem to do this distances that Pappa Murf does but for actual time on the water surely this bloke has got to be in contention.

Anyway enough of this talk about how these lucky guys live......I best be packing for my trip to 1770 on Tuesday.

    So Anthony,

You and Tangles will be up there together? You could count the rods and reels he's taken with him. Have you got a calculator?

    Just googled Corindi Beach.

Looks like a good spot. Coffs Harbour just to the south, and some good spots to the north.

Life must be pretty good there. Sounds like a good spot for a M & G.

I've got no problem with people that have addictions TOL.
For me the problem arises when the addicts themselves try and force their addictions on to other people as in what happened at Mike's house this morning.
You know what the man did? He gave me a rod to try out over the next few days.A blatant attempt to drag me down to his level of filthiness, loading me up with new gear to try.......It was as if he thought I may be an easy target to prey on and offload some gear.
    A junky's mule I have become......a sad day indeed.
My parents....oh my poor sweet parents, what will they think?
How will I sleep at night......with one eye open to watch 'the gear'?....I hope not.

A sad day indeed today is.....the day I got dragged down to the level of a tackle addict.

    Jesus wept.

I will wait until I see him at 1770 then call him a lazy bludger

You may have read it wrong Johnno. Life may be crap there, that's why he's always nicking off.

That's about the most polite comment I've ever heard from you Paul. I can imagine what you'll REALLY say when you see him.

I'll bet it's a top of the range job too. He's probably catered for every weather possibility. Heavy artillery if he goes wide, and finesse stuff if he's in the creeks. Overheads and spinning in every weight class. Bugger it, I'm just jealous anyway.

Yeah, never thought of that JJ, although I doubt it. Maybe you're right, but if I lived down that way, I wouldn't feel the need to venture too far.

Sort of reminds me of that bloke whose signature on his posts reads: "The more I talk to my wife, the more I want to go fishing".
