Alexander boys show how it's done

Did a Trip with the Alexander boys leaving Mooloolaba on Sunday at 5:30am.

In the first boat Peppi, Shasha and Steph went out in Steph's boat, Frank and I went in the tinnie and a couple of Steph's mates went in another boat.

We all fished the same area with Peppi, Shasha and Steph deciding to Anchor and burley for the day using bait, Steph's mates drift using bait and Frank and I search for shows and throw plastics at every one we found.

    The results were as follows

Peppi Shasha and Steph kicking our Buts with a great mixed bag of 45 fish which filled their esky and saw them leave by 3pm.

Steph's mates catching a mixed bag of a dozen or so fish and happy with that they left about 1:30pm.

Frank and I caught a mixed bag of 13 fish with Frank taking out the biggest Snapper at 77cm.

    Cheers,

    Brian

Interesting results Brian and yes the boys on plastic did well to get one third of what the guys anchored and burleying got.

Not a bad idea when with a burley trail to let a bait drift down the burley trail on the end of a jig anyway that way if the bait is picked off something remains whilst they are at it and interested - some guys use plastic some use the mylar hair type stuff - all works.

Thanks for posting - some good fish there - assume you were in the 50m depth.
    Cheers

Nice fish there. Some good eating to be had. Well done.
    Cheers, Doug.
Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.

Good report Brian. Good to see that my jig heads are still working
I was supposed to go on this trip but had an appointment with the surgeon on the following day and a shit load of jig orders to fill.
Nice to see that the fishing machine is back into the action following his leg operation.

    Cheers

Hey Dean yes Frankie has lost weight as he has just recovered from leg surgery.
Women are out of the question as they would interfere with his fishing time

    Cheers
