Just spoke to Davo he and his deckie got good fish last night, they went back after bagging out on 70+ models.
Davo being one for adventure dropped fish off and went back out in the cold conditions armed with his pop top camper onboard
Bit of an incident this morning, He wasn't wearing his best reg grundies and woke to find his coin sack stuck to alloy in the tinnie when he woke up
Had to use the egg flip to free him self lol Now currently cranking ACDC much to the annoyance of the local Mud fishermen

How do I get on the "Deckie" list as I am keen to head out with people and hopefully make a few new friends. Hoping to catch some decent fish (would love to catch my first snapper). Getting tired of walking up and down the sand and not getting any fish.

We got just under a bag of Squire and a good Mouri Cod. The taxman hit a couple of good fish as well. Webby, Sandman and Rakinray got their bag on slightly better fish
It was one of the nicest days offshore I have come across

Got my bag of snaps and a trevally. Also let two unkowns go but since found out they were moses perch and keepers. Fairly new to offshore fishing and in QLD so rather than bring back something undersize let them go to fight another day.

We spent the day and night Saturday fishing around Lamont , onboard was Sinker , Wrecker and myself , put a few sweeties and hussar in the esky and brought a few big sharks alongside overnite but that was it . Sunday morning headed out east of Fitzroy first drop I pulled a big parrot followed by a big pearly six parrot then they just shut down . Pulled up and tried a few more spots on the way back to Boyne for a total of nil . Monday headed out to Masthead in very ordinary conditions , moved around all day for nil keepers . After dark we headed back in to the shoals , tried drifting , tried anchoring but couldn't lose a bait . Daylight saw one hussar and a Spanish in the esky . Tried another proven mark in about 30mtrs and landed a nice grassy ,as conditions and fishing were both fairly ordinary we decided to call it .

We went out on Wednesday to that ever so secretive dollie spot and managed to pull in 7 between three of us. Smallest 61cm biggest 93. Was beginning to wonder whether it was possible to catch an undersized dollie. Hit the 35's after and pulled up a squire, pearly and moses for the cherry on top.
