Fellas chasing some tips,having trouble with thread coming loose at the start after i have finished a wrap,just wondering if this is a tension issue any tips appreciated.

By the sounds of it I would say it is a tension issue. Tighten up your lock down wraps and then ease off the pressure as you go along. I always try and get at least 6 lock downs at a fairly firm pressure. Hope this helps!

also if you are using speed thread it will loosen up if you apply colour preserver
either tighten up your starting threads or increase the number of threads over your tie off loop/tag end
