what finder to buy

Hi All
I am currently looking for a new fish finder for my tinny.
I do most of my fishing in freshwater rivers where the water can be a bit muddy and lots of structure. I Also fish in the fresh lakes/dams and ocasionally in saltwater bays and lakes.
If i could get something under $500 would be good but would spend more if it was nessasary.
Help would be appreciated

Under $500 the little Garmins would be your best bet. I love my Garmin 400c and it stacks up against my $2K Furuno.
