I have been using "weatherzone+" for weather and "Tide Prediction" The both seem trouble free and simple to use.
Regards to all Dick
I have a few ways of getting that info but the simplest is the Seabreeze web site...
http://www.seabreeze.com.au/graphs/qld.asp
In apps, a very well regarded one that has all weather info including tides and radars etc is PocketWeather.
+ 1 for pocket weather mate great app handy tide chart
i have 2 apps,,, mostly use for tidal info than weather,,, Fishabout (Chopjr chose),,, and Tide Plan,,, undoubtably both have stuff that i don't care about,, but the tide info is good
can it get any better??????????????,,,,,,,,,,,,,,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgG_TxEPaQE
I have an app called Sailfish on my iPhone. Its simple and covers what you want
I have an app called Hooked on Fishing mate. It has access to radar anywhere in aus sat images a fishing log and a location settng tides etc. Thing I like most about it as it has a camera option where you take a pic of what you caught and it stores it in your fishing log. The log records the wind direction, Where the tide was at that time and the conditions that day which is good for the bay. Worth the $5 I paid for it.
G'day
Tides? Shralp Tide

Fishing Calender by sis software has moon calender and lunar cycle I use it with pocketweather it also has a catch recorder
Not a bum steer, thanks, The app looks good.
Yeah mate, the moon does seem to have a bit of influence.
I got sailfish, since I don't do any boating, it seemed to give me all the basics and a few handy little options like setting up a few locations.
It's a simple app and just what I need.
The amount of choices on the Iphone is great, a real handy little tool.
Thanks for the help guys.
Cheers
Dan
BTW Sailfish has great style and good on hand for info, though it looks like I will have to get another app for other locations.
Sailfish lacks info on some locations.
I cannot really set up a full location for Brunswick heads.
Try setting up a location for Byron bay or Brunswick heads and it is an absolute shambles with closest tides being and weather being Yamba?
Don't mean to complain as it is a great app, but maybe a few owners of the app here could do like I have and send an email to the owners and ask them to clean up their Far North NSW locations.
Ahh the world of technology, looks like I will be downloading a few of the above mentioned apps as well.
Cheers Dan.
