Cool A morning on the bay with Mossy

Had a great morning today, collected at 5.30am, comfortable car ride to the Pinkenbar Boat ramp, boat launched and off to Mud we go. Once out through the mouth of the Brissy river, things got a bit lumpy but we persisted and soon arrived at Mud Is. The Skipper, using all his skills selected what he thought would be a good starting point, and after a few drifts his selection came through. Using a white wiggly Z Man I am hit by a Coal Train. The little shimano was screeming and shuddering with line quickly dissappearing from my reel. The skipper, after seeing the horror on my face pulled in his lines and the chase begun. After about 3 minutes we started to get some line back, very excited now, the fight lasted another 4 minutes and then all over, bugger, bitten off. Not happy!!! Thanks Mossy for putting me onto this monster, sorry for not getting it close enough to identify. We continued drifting and throwing Z Mans everywhere but without luck. That's Fishing !! Thanks Mossy for a very enjoyable morning.

    Regards, Mark

Nothing worse than not getting to see a nice fish, at least you had some fun and he's still there for next time.
