Snyder glas crusoe island 10"6 one piece

Has anyone purchased a new Snyder glas crusoe island 10"6 one piece and tried it out for whiting fishing? I'm just after people's opinions on the rod and weather or not there's any pros/cons with this particular rod. All so how it preformed on the whiting.

The Crusoe is a fine rod for chasing Tings but at 10'6 you have to have used these longer rods a bit to get the best out of them in a boating situation. A lot of guys are going back to 9' or so with their Alveys or even 7' with a threadline with no drop in catch rates
