    Goldy Bream

I have been fishing the goldy the last few afternoons for bream. Yep bream, never thought i would say it but there you go. To my surprise i have found it really bloody good fun, especially when you can get 30+ fish in a session with bycatch like jew, jack and flattys.
All fish have been caught on ghostblades. Ben

    Nice going. Well done.
    Cheers, Doug.
Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.

Me too childers. A&L water clarity varies wheather up the creeks or not but crystal clear in some spots and very turbid and brown in others, seems to be fish in both though. Ben

Great stuff, Ben. What pound mainline and trace? Mono for main or braid? Also, how big are those lures?

    Re: Goldy Bream

cuzza, 8lb sunline PE braid for the mainline and 6lb leader. I think the ghostblades only come in one size 1/12th oz and not sure but 45-50mm. Ben

Tis fun jesse,MR Dan I've used soft vibes for some great success on jew and threadys in the brissy but never really caught much on the hard ones before either. Their effectiveness sunk in the other day when a mate who was fishing with me got snagged up on his. He was giving the line a few twangs under pressure to try to unsnag it and a Big Bream unsnagged it for him!! He landed it too! Have since seen a vid on youtube of a bloke doing exactly the same thing on a bigeye blade. Pulled another jack more bream and flattys and a whiting today on them aswell. Ben

Nice going there Ben! Don't you just hate the 'bycatch' when you're targeting a particular species...
