Great to see the River to Mud on again, I'm bloody devo ed its on the tail end of my hols and I'll be somewhere???? gone for a month just me and the wife with the camper heading out to winton,longreach Mt isa . My oldest bloke works on the mines in the Isa and has been gone for 6 months so its our first chance to get out there and see him. I'll be doing a bit of fishing and chasing a few pigs etc. I love getting to the R2M and its always good to see you ugly mob. It gives me pleasure to announce I will be able to make it to this years competition. I am however boatless and VHFless(which may be a good thing). I do have my 12ft tinny (which may be big enough). I am available as a deckie if anyone is keen or as a skipper in my tinny if anyone is crazy.
I will be donating a prize also as I believe I have some making up to do since last years comp.

Marty I won't be going but your more than welcome to take my boat good tunes and VHF no cabin to sleep in but plenty of space for a swag. Even spoil yourself with Bimini so you don't get dew on yourself over night.

We have a problem Huston
On the 17th i have to go into hospital for surgery.
I have been getting a lot of SCC (sun spots) of late, and now have two on the snooze
and one just under the left eye. They have to be removed by surgery and then skin grafts to cover the holes, this is the only available time slot for the plastic surgeon.
They say i wont be able to see for 48 hrs till the swelling goes down.
So i wont be able to attend the weekend.
I will organize everything up until the friday.
Then some one will have to run the weekend (bbq, prizes etc)

Um Webby. I had a trophy last year from the R2M and well it was proudly displayed with my only other trophy I got for golf. The wife left a hat on the trophy which my ridgeback managed to grab off the shelf sending the trophy plumitting to the ground with a large thud. Some disfigurement has occured to the said trophy. But it can be fixed or I'm happy to replace if anyone on the northside knows of a trophy place? I have been looking around but yet to replace.

Hey Netmaker, Are you giving up any tax returns as prizes this year? I know of an incalcitrant indiviual who needs his return done. Thank the guy who did it last time, finally got something back from the ATO.

p.s Webby I do have a bag of plastics I can give up as a prize, do we just bring them along or send them to someone in particular?
