    Flatties down the pin sunday

Decided to shoot down the pin in fathers little trophy hornet to get out of the win and rain with Lucky to try something different and show my decky my pin spots. We hit mouth at low at 7am ish and missed out on jews and flicked for a while and the mouth was lumpy as but we kept pushing even if a few waves come over the bow. I was plugging a good number of smaller flaties but no good solid ones and Lucky was quiet for most of day after just 1. Shot out at high to mouth for another jew hit but still not there so headed back into the creeks for a few more flatty. At end of day i got to 1 spot i was waiting until high and being fairly quiet for a while before we drifted in 400mm deep and hooked 4 fish in 1 small spot and Lucky hooked the fish of the day. It went 76 3/4 so we called 77 cm solid crock. A few photos and back into drink. All in all a fun day but this wind and rain is to much but thats life eh. All hooked on berkley plastics bar the large 1 on bushy, starlo silver swirly tail thingy. We hooked a few on hard bodies as well. A few shots of day and dads boat.Click image for larger version.

Yeh Davo it was that plastic. It ran like a train in the shallows. Its fish like that makes us go back in less than 2 feet of water with mud and weed.

Dave i think we were following you around a bit on sunday... At one stage were you near that deep channel that runs to the north of the first island you go by when heading south out of the well, and then later on up the 2nd creek to the left.???heading for the pin.
I went out in a mates 5.15 clark, 115 merc.. its got ugly fish scales down the side and a pic of a big wahoo. 3 of us in the boat.
