I have a df60 I want to setup to show detail on my Garmin 750 has anyone seen a kit for them as its just before the 2008 one place wanted $600 to make a lead that may work .
Yeah tried trymax they want around $500 to $600 and I don't need it that bad.
Can buy a gauge and cables complete from America for less than $500. Have emailed brownSpoint marine to see if I can buy just the cable without the gauge. They used to sell the cable for $79 but it's no longer available
You don't need a gauge, who told you that you do and what gauge are they talking about??
Just need the Suzuki interface cable (Brownspoint) and a NMEA 2000 starter kit (BIAS), total cost less than $200 delivered.
You can make up your own adapter cable, pm me and I will send you a link to the place to get the plugs from. In Japan, good mob to deal with, quick service.
The only reason they say this cable is for 2008 and later is that the earlier models had a round plug on the end and this one has a square plug. Simple solution, make an adapter cable to plug it into, square plug on one end and round on the other.
Cost less than $20 for the plugs, plus a bit of wire. I just helped a mate make one up for a 2006 DF115, which I imagine has the same round plug on the engine SDS connector that your DF60 has, so if thats the case we know which pins to connect to which wires in the plugs.
Brownspoint may still have some of the pre-2008 model adapter cables available but it's not hard to make up one yourself. Piece of cake really.
Brownspoint will pre-program the interface cable for you for a fairly hefty fee, or if you're in Brisbane I'll do it for you for a bottle of Jack!
Cheers

Edit:
Here's the link to Eastern beaver and the page for the plugs:
