    Not a bad memory there Pete! It was 5yrs ago though. If my memory serves me correctly, you fought what you thought was a Spanish for 30mins before losing it on the same morning?

    Nice catch.The Spano is a cute little bugger. They turn up from time to time. I pulled a 15.5kg job of the eastern side of Green a few years before T1 got his fish so they certainly lurk around there at times

    Yeah Neil, just a few months before that one from Mud, i got nailed by one just off the ledge at Green. Saw my float bobble and seconds later this huge back of a Spano arced up over the float - couldn't believe what we saw!

    Yea a couple of seasons ago my brother was leaning over to trace an just under Squire when a big Spano gave it a short back and sides next to the boat. I would say that a few of the "Sharked" fish from that area have had Maccy surgery
