Are old Butterworth and Synder Glas Rod Blanks worth restoring?

Ive got a couple of old 13'6 Butterworth rods and a couple of old Synder Glas Regals rods that are in ok condition. My question is are these rods worth spending money on to be restored new guides, grips, reel seat etc or are they just rubbish tip pieces.

Wash your mouth out with soap!
My butterworth is only 40 years old, so its probably broken in now, but still not even close to needing a refirb

Still the best beach rod I've got!

If you have the time and patience, most rods are worth saving. It doesn't cost a huge amount to strip them down and refurbish them with nice new gear.

Bring them along on the week-end so I can take them to the tip for you
Na, just kidding matey. if they have not been broken or left out in the sun for years or bent then well worth saving.
    Cheers then

Totally agree.....to fix them, not to tip them. I have some rods I built over 30 years ago....Butterworth Super Barra blanks and others.......still just fine. With some of the great new gear and maybe a paint job, the will last you for another 40. Just keep them away from car and garage doors, fans and tree branches

Thanks for the input guys. I was talking to a neighbour of mine and low and belhold guess who he is Adrian the old bossand owner of Synder Glas fishing rods. So after spending an good couple of hours chatting to me he has been kind enough to sell me his last few rod blanks and few bits and pieces left over from the old Snyder glas factory at carole park. He said that Wilsons now owns Snyder Glas. Its a shame i didnt know Adrian earlier before they sold the mandrels and rights of Snyder glas to Wilsons.

Pedro I bought the last dozen after Adrian cleaned out his own personal collection and a couple he found while cleaning out the factory also bought some of the original thread colours for wrappings as well as guides and real seats that's it there is no more left. By the way Pedro have you got any 7144 Snyder blanks for sale at all?
