    Swanbank Lake

Went for a drive down to swanbank lake to have a bit of a look. Saw something flicking the surface fairly often, possibly small catfish but has anyone fished this lake or know what could be in there?

Looks pretty healthy, plenty of birds hanging around and diving under the surface chasing bait.

And also are there any good spots for gathering guppies, feeder fish or shrimp for food for tank fish that are around that area? Kholo was pretty quiet and they were letting water out from Mt Crosby weir which meant there was pretty fast moving water at colleges crossing.

Swanbank was stocked in the past. I recall personally releasing a 64cm Saratoga in there. I don't think the owners allow fishing now, although the No Fishing signs have been removed.
