    Outboard ID please

    Hi Gang
I was wondering if anyone can Id the motor in the add below. I think it is a DF140 but would like to get confirmation. In Suzuki's current lineup of motors the only one that has the hump on top is the 140 but was that the case in 06?

Yeah mate thats a 140 on the back................Seems a little overpriced IMO.......no hydraulic steering and the electronics are old it would be needing a re=fit at that age.

Maybe 30k would be more reasonable?.......not sure never priced up a poly.

thought so. and no hydraulics is a bummer. The hull weight on one of those is just over a ton so I am thinking that a 140 is also a little under powered. That's probably why he has gone for a 4 blade prop.

The 140 would push that fine.......the 4 blade is proberbly because the motor has not been set up right to start with...

i have been in the center console 599 with the 140 on it and itwas a good match......

Have you been in the bigger polys?..........the one i went in you could hear the bottom sides flexing and hitting the inner hull of sorts........like Rolf Harris's wobble board.
