Here's a heads up for Tailor fishing at Middle beach, pre- closed season.

Note the Horse-shoe gutter running up to the beach and the deep open ended larger gutter connecting it.

Planning a trip 1st week of October so hopefully the gutter i still there along with big tailor!

We were there in mid may, and the main gutter was there then, although it looks quite a bit larger now!! I wanted to stop and fish there but we headed over to wathumba!

Up there mid Sept. That'll be our view from the verandah of the house at Indian. Shame the gutter will mean diddly to us then though. The beach north of Waddy should fire again this year hopefully.
Down around Dundaburra always fires that time of year too.

We'll be there in Sept school hols as well, so it won't help us either - hopefully there will be plenty of other good deep gutters though.

Haven't got a photo of any at Moreton eh??, heading there on the 15th of July for a week and am currently on my knees praying to the weather gods.
