    Redcliffe Snapper

After several months I finally managed to get on the water on Tuesday morning.
Put the boat in at Scarborough at around 9.00am and took a run over to Morton to try and locate a wreck that I have a GPS mark for. No luck so returned to Scarby reef about 11.00am for a fish. Around 11.45 am had a hook up and after bending the landing net boated my PB snapper 78cm and 5.4g. Guess that I am in the market for a larger and stronger landing net! So as you are only allowed one this size, shortly after packed it in and returned to the ramp.

Good stuff Crabbie, by the looks of that one you would need two hands to hold it up! Happy eating.
Good things come to those who bait

    Re: Redcliffe Snapper

10Kg line with 20LB fluro trace. In the past used 10LB fluro trace but had to many bite offs
. Also used that smelly stuff called "mullet" (hard to beat for snapper)
