    Impatient and Dumb

Hi all, tried to do my first tiger wrap on the weekend after using all the great info provided on this forum
Done the bottom wrap in a green and black and applied first coat put left over finish in fridge(seen this in a video on a other forum) and left to dry or so I thought
Come back to do second coat pulled epoxy out of fridge it seem to set so heated finish and started to apply and realize that first coat hadn't been dry(impatient part)
    The finish was like toffe
Thought I could still make it work but it is now very uneven it looks like a cork fly grip(dumb part)
Now I know I have been dumb and impatient but do you think I can now do my second wrap and even it out with top layer of finish
Or should I cut it off and start again
    Cheers in advance

    Scott,

This is an easy one mate, get your razor blade out. To have a tiger turn out well you need to follow the steps to the letter.
To get the best results you must burnish the bottom layer as much as you can and then add 3 to 5 coats of epoxy 18-24 hours apart then give at least a couple of days for the epoxy to cure well enough to enable the top wrap to be burnished in the oppisite direction and get movement with these threads. The more epoxy between the layers the better the movement in the tiger, dont rush this and you will be impressed with your results.
NB: Discard any unused epoxy its not worth the hassel

    Cheers
