A Few Hours On The Brissie River

Pretty keen to get out for a fish the last few days and with all the crappy weather around options were kind of limited. Hadn't fished the river for a good while now - probably 2 years? But it was lookin pretty good with a high around 5pm and being mid week. Got to my chosen spot about 3:30pm and burleyed up and managed a good feed.

All fish kept were between 27cm and 33cm and came a couple of hours either side of the high tide. A few throw backs under 27cm but no point keeping them when the bigger ones are around.

Good arvo on the water and back home in time for dinner

Yeah mate saw 1 going down river, couple of the bream had biggish bits of larger sized prawn in them too when i was cleaning them this morning. I didn't get any in the cast net but didn't try too hard either..
