    I know squat about crabbing

As the title suggests i know nothing about crabbing in moreton bay. Are there rules such as how far you can drop your pots from someone elses pots, do green zones apply to pots. I often have to navigate around pots set in the main boating channels so out of consideration for other boaties i think i would set mine to the sides of the channels or maybe just inside the beacons out of the boating traffic.
Any information or help appreciated i normaly leave from manly.

no rules to how close u can crab to any1 elses pot but as a rule i use , normally leave enough room for them to come and collect there post without having to stuggle to get round your floats 20mtrs or so...cannot crab in green zones....normally better to run your pots from the bottom of a bank to the top to locate where the crabs are running ..i take it you go between green and st helena if ya leave from manly...best depth i found through there is between 4.5mtrs and 6mtrs of water...am sure others will give some more info
    cheers rosco
