    Rewiring boat

Finnally got tired of electrics not working in boat,so I pulled all old wiring out and spent some coin on new lights, bilge and new sounder. My question is because I'm useless at stuff like this does anyone know someone who could rewire it for me. Cheers hally

Where are you located Hally? If in SE QLD, Grand_Marlin on Ausfish would be the way to go.

If you get Grand Marlin to do it you won't have any worries and it will keep working.

I just had my battery wiring fixed up by him. It was a pleasure to meet him after he had given so much useful advice to me and others.

I was very confident he would do a good job because of the numerous threads on here about his work. His fibreglass repairs are invisible. His wiring seems to be a passion of his.

Yeah, Pete (Grandmarlin) is the go. Top bloke and quality work. A tip - just don't let him hold the dumb end of the tape measure when you are trying get a critical length - he like to play tricks.

Even better ... a MARINE Electrician...

We get to fix many jobs that auto leccies have done.
Their wormanship is generally fine but rarely do they have a good understanding of the marine environment and what materials and principles work best.
No disrespect to Auto Electricians, just a common observation that we make.

    Cheers

Yes, I too agree, marine is a whole new set of rules whether on your boat wiring or trailer wheel bearings, a reputable marine specialist is the best choice.
