Fish ID please

This fella was swimming circles on the surface. scooped him up with a bucket he was appproximetly 35cm long and really fat. Does anyone know what fish this is im pretty sure its some sort of baitfish but im not to sure any help on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

I agree with the long bottom of it's tail I would say a Bony Bream.

Thanks guys my mate really had to know what this fish was. Was caught off the Nerang river.
