U reckon??????
Without the rod building gear it could easily have been the prestigious head like a busted watermelon competition for 2012. Gee there were some rough heads there, Mrs and maybe jnr jnr Pinhead were the exception.
Maybe that why so much piss was drunk. Things look better through beer glasses even if it was xxxx cat piss. I forgot just how bad I fart after drinking that crap, the wife didnt think it was funny after letting a few let rip in bed. Woman just dont appreciate a good fart.
Finally found some time to finish the rods i started at the RBW.
First rod is for my better half Kirsten.
The second rod is for my son Blake and this has been done in his footy team colours.

Here is the finished fly rod
very pretty steve looks the goods
You need to sart wearing some nail polish. Thats looks soooooo much better than the first attempt. To much trim can makea rod look like puss IMO. Keep it subtle, neat and classy and you will have a great looking rod. I think to much Bling can take away from a rods appearance.
Hey Steve
Those colours have come up a treat with the epoxy.
Fly rod hey!!
Will you use it to catch your normal household fly or will it be used for horse flies
Cheers Dazza
Looks nice Apollo whats the blank looks sageish to me,i did a XI2 last year 10wt on love it for the tuna, cheers chris.
Yes Chris Xi3 8W
Thanks
Steve
Very nice Apollo, have you swoffed a XI2 and how does it compair with the XI3 i find the XI2 a little stiff but they come into there own when the wind picks up i find, cheer chris.
Chris
I found the Xi3 lighter and still pretty fast (like the Xi2), but a little more forgiving in its action (but this may be just the lighter blank). Both are weapons though and I prefer them over the ONE for the type of casting I do. I will load it up with Rio Outbound so it loads up quickly.
