    Leader

Hi Just enquiring on what leader people are using i will be looking at 50lb leader for casting lures in the snags for barra and jacks tried fluorocarbon but it is brutal and hooks are pulling some times with tight drags thanks.

I've been using Schneider and Black magic leader 40 or 60lb. Fished in and around Mackay and the NT chasing Barra.

    Cheers

I use 40lb black magic. A little light but it's fine as long as you retie after each barra.

55lb Schnieder Klear has been the benchmark for years......tuff wirey and hard..........best barra leader material known to man IMO.

    also cheap!

I use Yozuri in 30 and 50lb pretty happy with all aspects, light pink which seems pretty hard to see when submerged and ties well. Penn 10x seems ok in a cheaper leader as well.
