200hour Service

Hi guys, being new to owning boats I have purchased a second hand boat with a 2004 johnson (suzuki built) 115hp four stroke. What is a reasonable price to get for a service. Just a ball park range on what you would think is accepatable.

Depends on what they will do and if any additional parts are required. I have had good service in the past from Barneys Marine up in the bay and they are Suzuki dealers, have you chased them up for a quote?

I think $500 is about a ball park figure - mind you i've never paid for a service but have seen a fair few receipts and know a few fellas that get theirs serviced regularly by dealers etc and they all seem to be around the same mark.
