Is a good idea to do some routine vehicle maintenance while checking your vessel before going out on the water.
Otherwise your vehicle might end up in/under the water.
We saw a couple of guys from Brisbane do the exact same thing at the 1770 ramp a while back when the hand brake failed on their cruiser. From memory one of the aquaducks pulled them out and they were waiting for a tow truck to take them home when we got back in.
