Camping fishing and dogs allowed on the beach

Hi Guys
Looking for spots where we can take the dog and fish do prefer salt boat or shore. We are in the Bribie area

Heya,

We don't usually go camping, but we hire a house up near Marcoola which gives us plenty of spots to fish, as well as a massive beach to walk the dogs on.. For a few hundred a week, it's worth it to us to have all the mod-cons available, and a secure place to put our stuff when we're out and about.

Best place I know of is Flinders Beach Straddie

I thought with the control now vested in the traditional landholders they had ruled out camping at main beach. It is or soon will be national park down to the sea so that would mean no dogs. Cheers

You can still camp at Main Beach - I did, along with a few hundred others, just a couple of days ago. Plenty of people with dogs. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens if and when it officially becomes a national park. I doubt dogs will still be allowed but I'm pretty sure camping will continue.
