    Console Help Needed

At present i have a pre fab plastic side console which i bought from Bias Boating the only problem is it is warped and getting worse which is making my steering wheel on an angle, I am wanting to replace this console with an aluminium one can anyone suggest what would be better side or centre console? I only have a 3/4 floor and dont really wanna raise the floor as i heard its quite expensive and i still have 2 thwart seats which are a real pain. Can anyone recommend someone who can make these consoles and at what cost, I am in brisbane. The boat is a Allycraft 445 Sioux i have inclided a picture of the boat the console is only half visible on the right in 1 photo. Any other advice would be great

    cheers Mike

Anyone know how long the pre fab consoles from Bias will Last as someone told me to put a small piece of Ply behind the steering helm and that will keep the steering all strait, I was thinking about doing this if it will work, As i like the setup of the console the only let down is its plastic.

over time the plastic will warp, you could put a decent piece of ply or even better say some 6mm alloy sheet
behind it mounted with a few bolts

Yeah a piece of 4-5mm alloy plate behind would work a treat if its what I'm understanding, maybe a.photo of the warped console would be better to judge mate.
