Hi Randell,thanks for the report mate.Its refreshing to see a polly active in this and actually make sense of what the issues are,it will be interesting to see what havoc a bigger barge is going to cause with the boat traffic but its got to be done i suppose.

have you heard the latest,the Council are going to put in place an under beach pipeline, from Mooloolah Rv bar to the beach at Alex and Maroochydore to replemish the beaches as needed, and this will assist in and removal from the mooloolah Rv bar. a great solution.
They have been doing it for a few years on the Gold Coast at Tallebudgera and Burleigh beach..
a win win situation.................. I heard the council were going to build a dredge and just use it when needed....
with the elections coming up , it might have been one of those dreamers ideas....
Anyway , I'm up in Bundaberg now,,,for good.... that Burnett rv looks nice, not that dirty even at Bundaberg.
