Fraser off shore easter trip

Hi all,

My first post in the off shore section and I thought I would share our easter trip to Fraser.
We normally do what is called the Red October trip which is a private invite only comp put on by the locals at orchid beach, as you can imagine we get some grief from the wives so we decided that we would put on a womens comp at easter time where we take the girls out. We spend most of the day baiting hooks and putting new rigs on

but every now and then we get a small window to drop a line ourselves.

I had to come back early but I left my boat up there with a few mates who got out yesterday and brained them, so will add a few more pics when they return later in the week.

Shane, no mate not that hard but Mick has had some trouble with his garmin putting him onto yabbie banks, lol

Mick, cant wait till October mate we have found some new ground which produced 3 good reds 12.1,10.7 and 9.6 so if its left alone for a while we should do ok + plenty of parrot and RTE

Nice fish Pedro. Thats not a bad consolation prize for not getting to Stanage this year. I will give you a call about those cuttlies next week

Brownie points with the wives and you get to fish, nice work. Then leave the boat for your mates to have a great trip so they will think your great. Mate you should be sitting pretty for a while with everyone.
