    Prawns On The Gold Coast?

Hey, Ive never done prawning before but it sounds good fun. I have a few questions...

    - Am i right in saying this is about the right time of the year to be trying for them?

    - If someone could give me a few hints as to a location to try that would be great!

    - Is a normal cast net fine, or does it have to be something special?

    Thanks, Dylan.

Try the coomera river look for the deep holds if you have a navionics card. usually an hour and a half either way on low tide.

Ok Thanks, How long does their season last? Or are they around all year? And does a normal cast net do the trick?
