I assume that was a typo. 11p, or was it 21p?
just phone Solas
BOAT really does mean Bring out Another Thousand
Yeah I agree with fish hunter ring solas as they are the ducks nuts of props and they really know their gear 11 p to a 21 p is one hell of a big leap there something is seriously wrong there anyhow happy hunting
That is a huge gap there Gazza. What HP are you running? We went down to 8p from an 11p on our F30 Yammies as they, ally work boats, were too heavy to push up onto the plane with the 11p.Just didn't have neddies to do it,the 8p allowed them to rev out and get them out of the hole.Going from an 11p to a 17p,??? just be sure of your WOT range if your revving out to within the specs of the engine and your top speed is acceptable with your load, have a good think before you leap.Jim

They provide prompt service and great prices on a range of Stainless props. A stainless Solas for a 90 HP will be around$360 deliverred compared to well over $600 locally. Use a variety of their tools such as the rev based one. If you give your current specs and revs at WOT its not hard to work out what you need

hey mate yeah 17P is me in the boat by my self total boat weight approximately 424kg its a mercury 25hp bigfoot 4 stroke i have a 11P prop on there now with 3x 100kg adults total weight of 624kg i think the engine is hitting the rev limiter at full throttle the engine feels like its vibrating and cavitating with the boat loaded with the 3 of us it recommends a 15P prop
I think you need to step back and reacces what you are actually doing. Maybe, you can start again and give us all the info again, something is missing from your explanation , it seems a bit confused.
the main info needed is REVS at max throttle, PROP size and GEAR ratio, all else can be derived from these but you must have ALL three.
