I found 2 at Repco $10.50 each so ill grab them after work and give them a test on Friday.
Very true that most places only have NGK luckily for me Repco still stock champion products.

I made the same mistake with my 2000 Johnson, I put NGKs in, had issues, put champions back in and all was good again.

    Hi Guys,
I put the new plugs in on Thursday afternoon and took the boat out Friday morning pleased to say that every time i started the motor it started first turn of the key it performed the whole day flawlessly amazing how much difference a set of plugs can make. Had a great day out fishing as a result
So i just wanted to thank everyone so much ho helped out here i do appreciate it.
Now i feel so much more comfortable going out knowing the motor starts first time putting less strain on the battery and motor it even sounds like ti is idling smoother.
    So thanks again to all
    Cheers
