    How to put GPS Marks in on computer and upload onto lorance

    Thinking of buying lorance HDS-5 or 7.......id really like to load the gps marks on a computer and upload it onto the plotter.........

    Does anyone know if you can do this or not.

    I use a program called EasyGPS for the computer... you can export the points onto a MMC card and then put that into the Lowrance unit and import the points into your unit... sounds confusing but once you do it once or twice it is pretty easy.

    Look up and download Oziexplorer. Been using it for years. It is a ripper of a program and written in Brisbane. Changing between GPS formats I use GPS Babel too. I also have the Jeppeson C-Map reader for any unit that uses C-Maps.

    there is a program on the lowrance website that is a free download
    IF IT CAN'T EAT A WHOLE PILLY I DON'T WANT IT
