    boaties market wrap up

hi all. down to the boaties market this morn. picked up bingo (oodies) and ddobson on the way. good crowd there again and plenty of fishing and not so fishing stuff to look at. one of the popular attractions was the hot young thing selling training and licensing. heard a bloke walking past us tell his mate he was thinking of getting re-licensed. ran into a few other ausfishers there: phill, mike, john, paul, lucas, bruce, malby and the shy guys. much wagging of chins... not to mention barry who looked as busy as a 1 legged bloke in an ass kicking comp. picked up some bargains in the form of a 2 burner camp stove for $20, pile of jigheads, a paravane and a couple of 150w marine speakers for $20. already hooked them up and they pump. snapper will hear me coming from miles away. mossy should be chasing barry for royalties as barry's sales spiel now includes lines like: these are the ones mossy uses and these are mossy's favourite colours... he will have to look out. barry may be wanting him to make appearances soon too. great little outing and here's the kicker. i bought $10 worth of raffle tickets on the way out and got a call at the pub at 1 letting me know i had won a prize. what prize you may ask? the cast net hows that for a little irony? anyways, off to pick it up tomorrow so i'm hoping its a good net. didn't really look at it at the time but i know its a full size net so may well save me getting out the needle for a bit longer. what a laugh.

    cheers

Think I should release a Mossy's series. My mates tell me I should design up a logo for him and get some stickers on the go. I'll have to chat to Barry next time I see him about distribution, might have to get him some foreign workers in to keep up with demand. I think there is only about 4 of Mossy's favourite colours. Still he makes a quality product Dayoo I already got people asking me for the connection to them jigs. I should start charging a GST. George's Sevices Tax.
