    Spotties at peel sat.

Left sat am with mate at 4am to try the southern end of bay and see if and snapper like some of my new plastics i got but like every other time i fish after rain (nothing) at all and at the house boat some dude pulled up in a small tinny and anchored right on top of it as we were drifting and you guessed it i snagged on his anchor rope and he lost his anchor when he left there so theres a lesson in that for bait boys who want to hog a good spot at dawn when most are drifting over it. We got to northern end of peel after sun up and mate saw something jump and not long after his large drop bear plastic got smashed and drag was screaming away at a good pace on east end of lazarets gutter. I saw a large school of tailor there last week so casted and trolled hard bodies for an hour or so but after 2 hits and nothing then birds and water were silent so off home to wash boat as it bled on everything at 82cm it had some strength to it thrashing until i could grab it then bleeding it into a bucket.Click image for larger version.
