Sexy Purple deep water rod

Hi all,

Read a thread by JT a few weeks ago about bullards purple and after seeing the results I just had to build a rod with the purple theme. Rod is 24kg especially built for fishing for Bar cod and blue eye trevella in 250-300m of water, it will be fitted with an electric reel as I am to old and unfit to pull fish that far. I did a weave of a marlin which I designed myself ( Thanks to Owen Dare's software PICTOWEAVE cheers Owen) but made the fatal mistake of trying to roll when CP was to sticky and therefore got some minor clouding so I decided to put some marbling around it to hide the mistakes and I think it looks kinda cool.

Theres something very rich about purple and gold combination. It looks great. Good save with the marbling Pedro

Yer i like the purple and gold like Horse said real nice combo i take my hate of to you Pedro,question for you how do you hide the tag ends so they dont show?you Mark and Owen seem to have the nak and patiants to roll and weave some fantatsic rods im still trying to master basic metalic wraps.
