Good stuff Davo, good to get back amoungst the snapps after the sh!thouse weather we have had of late. Get them in a northerly?
Might try and get myself some tomorrow, hopefully you didn't take all the fish from the sea.

ill put money on a whopping big catty i had the same thing happen got me 7lb spooled and ended up in 3ft of water it would of been in 2ft and got dusted on something sharp, a mate had the same thing exactly happen but managed to get it up to the boat after 20mins to find a 10lb catty. it makes me feel better at night knowing it was most likely vermain. they run just like snapper but im yet to experience a snapper whilling to get into 3ft of water, nice fish by the way

mossy. left a few mate but only the big ones.

justjack. highly improbable mate. been using plastics for 3 years (over 2000 hours fishing time) and caught only 1 cattie, 2 sharks and no rays. 99.9999% of the time using plastics there is a fish on the end, not vermin. and i was fishing 50 foot and a looong way from the shallows.
