looking to buy odd shape sinker moulds-Where to buy??

Hello.

I am wondering if there are tackle shops in Australia,that sell star shape sinker moulds and other odd shape moulds.Or are these moulds seldom come across??

I imported some pyramid and 'egg' shape moulds from the states,but the three sided star
sinker moulds seem seldom seen,and only appear to be had second hand.

If they are available new could someone let me know,thanks.

Not to highjack your thread or anything mate but in your search for unusual sinker moulds have you ever come across them for channel sinkers (pickers doom)?

I have a mould here for channel sinkers, does about 2 or 3 sizes. Picked it up years ago when I use to do a lot of bream fishing down south. Send me a pm if you want to borrow it.

Might take you up on your offer,Mark.

I have never seen a 'pickers doom' mould.I have been making a few different shape ones,as have collected a fair bit of lead over last year or so.

I have been searching for snapper moulds over the last month or so (in the bigger sizes) I am sure I saw a star sinker mould at the Boating Camping and Fishing store on Sandgate Road maybe give them a ring, I also visited Tackle World Sandgate on the same day so it may have been there.

I'm chasing a cast net lead sinker mould, the leads are open cylinders that are then crimped in place to hold the lead line to the net, but I don't want a mould that makes the large leads - I'm after a mould the makes cast net sinkers about 2 cm or 3/4 inch long. If someone has such a mould or knows how to make such a mould send me a PM.
