A few fish returning to the Pine

After what seems like the twenty seventh flood this summer a few bream are showing up in the Pine again. Went out yesterday at dawn and fished for about six hours for seventeen bream - kept nine. Size wasn't great but the condition of the fish was very good. Had a quick look for some summeries but only a few about with only one legal. Couldn't find a lizard, although I didn't really try and didn't bother looking for prawns.

wow good to see- was down near the bridge last night and there were pleanty of big islands floating through on the incoming - i was thinking at least another week before i would try again but i might have to persist wiht the moskitos a little more

Awesome mate, yes they are very good looking fish, i'm still trying to figure out how to catch other species lol

Its a wonder you're not bagging out on prawns mate. Mate of mine was out there today in the Pine and managed a bucket no worries about low tide.

There were a few boats scratching, was you one of them today?

No Peter. I had a look on Thursday in a few places but could only manage a few small greasies for a bit of live bait. At least I got some exercise!
