Lol didnt think of it like that, I guess I can picture my mates and I standing around cooking a fish and not having much of a clue and no one fessing up they don't know what it is
Your version probally makes more sense. Lol
It's a typical though quite rare round nosed, silver bellied, yellow tail tipped Austrian snafflebach trout!
Geeez, I wish I could bags me one of them!!
Well there you go it realy is a BREAM, I was looking at it all cross eyed and on different angles thinking this has got to be a trick question. But I do see you drive a Commodore so must be an honest bloke and you realy were just trying to find out the answer to an honest question.
Good luck with your fishing and boating ventures, and learn up on all things fishy, especially the size limits and bag limits.

It's all good, I certainly will be able to at least identify one fish now.
Went out again today near peel island and was awesome having a line in and relaxing.
Good onya mate, yes its a nice commom Bream. Legal size of 25cm, A little bit hard to get a good fillet off at that size though so I usually only keep em from high 20's and up. My biggest ever was 37cm but they do get into the 40's. They will give your young fella plenty of fun and are easy enough to catch with a bit of fresh prawn or worm. Enjoy!
