Boys weekend Hervey Bay

Hi guys
We have a boys fishing weekend booked and I am toying with the idea of heading to Hervey bay and overnighting on Frazer either in swags or on the boat. We will want to chase speedsters and reefies so as I have not fished this area before any info on bait gathering and spots to fish and camp would be much appreciated
