personally i have done best right on the stroke of tide changes, low has proved to be best......but then again i have heard of fellas liking the couple of hours in the middle of the tides.......i think it really comes down to what area you are fishing and how much flow that area has, eg. right up creeks- not much flow. around a steep rock bar or drop off- plenty of run in the tide.(which would make it difficult to fish on a flooding or dropping tide)

It comes down to location, but most people hit the bottom of the tide and look for a snag with two to 6m of water.
I do very well on the flood though, but then again i do not fish the creeks or rivers for them during high tide.
