I should be safe with that amount of drag shouldn't I.
    Would shimano warranty cover this.
    Thanks.
I was running a trynos 16 with drag around the 7 kilo mark if i remember correctly,it snapped right were the blank is sleved into the handle,if you can stretch to $350 get a jigging master 280b,great rod for the price,as for a warrenty with shimano i have no idea how that would go,also the king fish in nz seem to punch alot harder that the ones over here so you should probably be fine, fingers crossed

Can I say to you blokes.
If I though I was confused before about wich rod to get I know now I am definitely confused. Ha ha ha.
I went to pick up a 200 deep jig yesterday buy the feller I always deal with had the day of so I was going to go back today.
If I could get the 200 deep jig for $229 plus postage would it be worth it then.
Tell you the truth I loved the tcurve vertical jig the most but all comments seem to be to stay away from them.
Hmmmmm the 2009 jig wrex sounds very nice. Is this rod better then the rods I've mentioned.
    Thanks.

The 2009 jigwrex is better than the Tcurve...IMO.Sic guides, better blank and I think they are made in Japan.I know blokes with the new Jigwrex and they prefer the old one.I was sold on the Tcurve until I got my hands on the old model Jigwrex at the same price.

Thanks for all your help guys.
I ended up buying a deep jig 200 and without having a fish on it yet it feels like a perfect match up to the 10000 gosa.
The deep jig 200 also has sic guides and same reel seat as the earlier jig wrex so it may be just the blank that is different.
Hanging to give it a go now on the kings and tuna.

One of my t curve 200 is matched to a spheros 10000fb and its a perfect match just like yours should be. You have a very good entry level to middle of the road jigging combo! Should catch just about anything mate except maybe a 40kg dogtooth tuna LOL
