    Thumbs up queenfish in mooloolah river

    hey guys

    over the past few days there has been queenfish schooling up in mooloolah river.

    I have tried casting around plastics but I haven't gotten many hookups.

    does anyone have any pointer for me, like what lures to use, etc.

    Try a 5-10 g metal slug

    there ranging from babies(15cm) up to the nice sized 70+ cm ones

    Hi grinny,like jeremy said,i would also try poppers or smallish shallow runners,if you know what there feeding on try to match the size of that bait,good luck mate.
