Myself and my father-in-law headed out to the broadwater (Gold coast) this morning to pump a few yabbies and have a session.
Well we caught 1 flattie, 4 bream, 1 estuary cod, 1 luderick, 1 stingray, 1 whiting and 24......yes 24 Moses Perch!
They ranged from 15-24cm and were great fun on light gear.
3 hour session and went through about 40-50 yabbies!

I think you will find the Fingermark were in fact Moses Perch, which are similar perches but Fingermark are larger more northern fish.

Yeah, those Moses Perch always seem to swallow the hook too. They go hard and you think you've got something decent, then...... bugga...

If you can get them a little larger they are sweet eating
