    redland bay

took about half a kilo of good size banana prawns the other morn on low tide in three casts then they dissapeard and i ripped my net,
bloody good sized blacktip reefie nice and fat around the 1.4 mark and a flathead that was well over 90 cm but the hook came out while my two boofhead mates argued weather to gaff it or net it. i say well over 90 cause i got a 90cm flattie in my cast net a couple of weeks ago and this was much bigger than that. but it had all these red sores on its head it looked like shit. plus a few bream around again too biggest going 30cm.

also of late about 3 or 4 days ago i picked up a 1.2m 1.5m and a 2.2m shovel nose as well as other blacktip reef sharks i kept the 1.2 as i heard they are tasty turns out they are a mission to fillet i suggest a chainsaw
